ADVANCEMENT FOR CONSECRATION

“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service”. (Romans 12:1 NKJV)”.

To consecrate yourself is to answer God's call to spiritual consecration. This means making a conscious, willing decision to dedicate your soul, mind, heart, and body to God.

God has good, pleasing, and perfect plans for His children; he wants us to be transformed people with renewed minds, living to honour and obey Him- because He wants only what is best for us, also He gave his Son to make our new life possible, we should joyfully give ourselves as a living sacrifices for His service.

Paul warned Christians in Romans 12:2: Don't copy the behavior and custom of this world that are usually selfish and often corrupting. Our refusal to conform to this world's values, however, must go even deeper than just behavior and customs; it must be firmly planted in our mind: let God transform you in to a new person by changing the way you think. It is possible to avoid most worldly customs and still be proud, covetous, selfish, stubborn, and arrogant. Only when the Holy Spirit renews, reeducates our minds, we are truly transformed.

PRAYER
I present my body to Jesus Christ as a living sacrifice; I present the members of my body to Jesus Christ as instruments of righteousness. My body has been bought with the blood of Jesus and it belongs to Him. My body is a temple of the Holy Spirit.

Someone once said that he did all his best to be successful to please and gain his father's favor and be in his good book. Many children please their parents n marital issues, career, and most time involve them while making other crucial decisions of their life. Apostle Paul in his letters to the Thessalonians makes it a priority for the Thessalonians to consider pleasing God as the most important attribute of their lives.
